Announcing a new Meetup for Journey Inward Meetup Group!
What: Vegan Potluck Social & Game Night Meetup
When: Sunday, March 14, 2010 4:00 PM

Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist
1025 N Smith St 3 blocks south of Dundee RD. and Smith

We are doing something different in 2010. On March 14, 2010, Journey Inward group will join
forces with Suburban Chicago Vegetarian Meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Suburban-Chicago-Veg-Meetup) to have a Vegetarian Potluck Social.
Please make sure your dish is dairy/egg/honey free (vegan) and bring the ingredients on a card so anyone with allergies will know what's in the dish. Don't know what to cook? Stop by Whole Foods or Trader Joes and pick something up. Click here to view all of TJ's vegan items.. Please post what you will be bringing and write the recipe on the message board at the Suburban Chicago Vegetarian Meetup site.
There will be handouts for those people who are interested in learning more about the vegetarian lifestyle.
Dont' forget to bring your favorite game as well as your dish, because we'll be hanging out afterwards to play our favorite board/card games!!!
We will also have a donation box setup for the Heartland Animal Shelter. Please note that as much as Heartland appreciates all donations, they can't use everything people donate due to diet restrictions, safety issues, etc. Please view their wishlist here before purchasing a donation. Thank you!!!
This is a great opportunity for both groups to mingle and get to know each other better.
