Starting the 3rd Wednesday meetup in November we will be putting some new rules in place:

3 Strikes Policy

When people RSVP "Yes" and do not show up it hurts everyone:

- It hurts their Karma because of their unintentional lie.

- It hurts other members who may want to not attend but cannot RSVP if an attendee limit is reached

- It hurts organizers who may have difficulties to plan events

- It hurts the environment having paper, ink and electricity wasted for handouts for no shows

Attendance will now be taken during our events and members (or their guests) who RSVP but did not come are marked as "no show".

There are only three "no show" allowed during a year (starting with the first "no show")

There will be no more maybe options for meetups. Either you can make it to a meet or you cannot.

This is why you can change your RSVP before the deadline which is usually 1 or 2 days before the event.

RSVP must be changed before RSVP deadline so another person who is possibly on Waiting list have an opportunity to sign up.

After the third "no show" the member loses the privilege to sign up for our events for a year.
