New Moon Rattle Song, Drumming & Bonfire!
Join us for a New Moon Drumming event July 11th from 6pm to 10pm.
We will be gathering at 6pm to socialize and have a shared snack. Then at 7pm Peg Lentz will treat us to a rattle song (bring rattles). Following the ceremony we will begin an evening of drumming. Bring any and all instruments, come and dance and drum with us around the bonfire!
Address is: 1430 State Rt 31, in Oswego, IL. Map and directions will follow. The location is on private property right off of Route 31 in Oswego (along the Fox River). One of our members has graciously offered the use of the land for our event. There will be room for parking. If you attended the Spiral Solstice in June then you already know the location and layout.
We will be providing supplies for the fire, cups, napkins, paper plates, utensils, bottled ice water and a portable toilet (we are asking for a $5.00 donation to help with the cost of bringing in the port-a-potty).
Please feel free to forward this to other drumming circles, but make sure they get the entire email, and that they should bring a chair or blanket, bug spray, a snack to share and something for themselves to drink. Flashlights might also be a good idea for the walk back to the road.
