We are doing something different in 2010. On March 14, 2010, Journey Inward group will join
forces with Suburban Chicago Vegetarian Meetup (http://www.meetup.com...) to have a Vegetarian Potluck Social.

For those members who are not familiar with vegetarian and vegan, a vegan is someone who doesn’t eat animal products: meat, fish, milk products, eggs, or honey. Many vegans also avoid fur, leather, and wool as these products generally result in the confinement, abuse, or slaughter of animals.

If you are curious about becoming a vegetarian then this is a great way to meet some great people, taste some very delicious food and ask questions. Everyone is welcome to this event. Please make sure your dish is dairy/egg/honey free (vegan) and bring the ingredients on a card so anyone with allergies will know what's in the dish. Don't know what to cook? There will be handouts for those people who are interested in learning more about the vegetarian lifestyle.

Dont' forget to bring your favorite game as well as your dish, because we'll be hanging out afterwards to play our favorite board/card games!!!
